World Class Superstar plays to packed Goodrich Village hall
"Getaway" to Goodrich
"Yeh Yeh "

On Thursday December 7th, Goodrich rocked to the rhythm and blues of Georgie
Fame’s Hammond Organ while he sang his own hits, such as Yeh Yeh, Getaway,
Bonnie and Clyde, and played a superb selection of jazz and rhythm and blues
classics, accompanied by his two sons on drums and guitar. A packed village hall
showed their full appreciation at seeing such a legend in this small and
intimate setting and clamoured for more and more.

After five and a half weeks on the road throughout the UK, Goodrich Village Hall
was the final night of Georgie Fame and Sons 2006 UK tour. Their next venue is
in Thailand, where they are playing for the King’s 80th birthday party and
Georgie Fame is continuing to work throughout the world with his sons, or his
old band the Blue Flames, or as part of Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings. The
atmosphere in Goodrich was unforgettable and Georgie Fame shared his feelings
with the audience that this had been the best gig of their tour and the one they
had enjoyed most. He and his sons were relaxed, highly professional and played
and sang supremely well. What a night!
