The group is run like a charity so that the fundraising enables them to afford
to book major international acts that otherwise would never dream of coming to a
small rural village in Herefordshire. Thus local events subsidise the more
expensive events so that Georgie Fame was subsidised to the tune of £10.00 /
head otherwise an international star would not be affordable for the small stage
of Goodrich village.
